Between 1905 and 1959 the building was used as a school. We bought the house from the last teacher's family in the summer of 1995. The last teacher, Tryggve Heimer started working at the school in 1922 and in 1959 he bought the house and rebuilt it for private housing.

The old classroom is today used as the dining room. Junior school, which later was used as the gentlemensrum, is today the wine library. The boy's handicraft room was located on the second floor. Today, this is a beautiful tea and coffee saloon. The teacher lived in our smaller saloon.

The house is situated on a catholic cemetery…which was closed down by Gustav Vasa during the late middle ages. A memorial stone is left as is a silver bell believed to come from the old chapel in Norebyn. The bell is today kept in Steneby church.

Carin, born in 1951 is from Uppsala while Christer, born in 1945 is from Halmstad. Together they have 75 years of experience from the restaurant industry. With this we have a great amount of knowledge that we want to supply through our restaurant. Our wish is to give our guest the dining experience we want ourselves when we dine out…
